Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Currency Wheel mobile application (the “App”) provided by Lapidus FX Trading (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.
Not financial advice: Currency Wheel is an informational and educational tool only. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, trading, tax, or legal advice. Forex trading involves substantial risk of loss.
1. About the App
Currency Wheel provides forex market information for G10 major currencies, including strength indicators, pair rankings, multi-timeframe confluence, sentiment views, activity and volatility metrics, and optional alerts.
The App is intended for informational and educational purposes only. It does not place trades, manage funds, or provide brokerage services. We are not a regulated financial adviser, broker, or investment firm.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use the App on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
3. No financial advice
All content, data, indicators, rankings, alerts, and materials provided through the App are for general information and education only. They are not tailored to your personal circumstances, financial situation, or investment objectives.
You should not treat any App content as a recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any currency, financial instrument, or product. Before making any financial decision, you should consult an appropriately qualified independent financial adviser.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or suitability of any market data or analytical output displayed in the App.
4. Market data and disclaimers
Market data and quotes displayed in the App are sourced from third-party providers (including Twelve Data) and may be delayed, incomplete, or subject to interruption. Data is refreshed on a periodic basis and may not reflect real-time market conditions at every moment.
Strength scores, leaderboard rankings, confluence counts, sentiment classifications, and similar outputs are derived calculations for illustrative purposes. They may differ from other platforms or methodologies. You use all data and indicators at your own risk.
5. Trading risk disclaimer
Trading foreign exchange and related derivatives carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Leverage can work against you as well as for you. You could lose some or all of your invested capital.
Past performance, historical patterns, and back-tested indicators are not reliable indicators of future results. You are solely responsible for evaluating the merits and risks of any trading decision you make. We accept no responsibility for losses arising from your reliance on the App.
6. Alerts and notifications
The App may offer optional alerts (including strongest/weakest currency changes and confluence threshold notifications) delivered via local notifications and/or Firebase Cloud Messaging.
Alerts are provided for convenience only. We do not guarantee that alerts will be delivered promptly, without delay, or at all. Alert delivery may be affected by device settings, network conditions, market hours logic, battery optimisation, or third-party service availability. You must not rely on alerts as your sole basis for trading decisions.
7. Subscriptions and free trials
7.1 Currency Wheel Pro
Certain features (such as advanced alerts, full sentiment access, or other Pro features described in the App) may require a paid subscription (“Currency Wheel Pro” or “Subscription”).
7.2 Billing through Google Play
All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play. By subscribing, you also agree to Google Play’s terms and policies. We do not process payment card details directly.
7.3 Free trial
Where offered, a free trial gives you access to Subscription features for the stated trial period (for example, 7 days) at no charge. You must cancel before the trial ends through Google Play → Payments & subscriptions if you do not wish to be charged. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial expires, Google will automatically charge the published subscription price and your Subscription will renew as described at purchase.
7.4 Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal through Google Play. You are responsible for managing your Subscription and cancellation settings in your Google account.
7.5 Price changes
Subscription prices may change. Where required by Google Play or applicable law, you will be notified in advance and may need to accept new pricing to continue.
7.6 Refunds
Refund requests for purchases made through Google Play are handled by Google in accordance with Google Play’s refund policies and applicable law. Contact Google Play support for billing disputes. You may also contact us at lapidusfxtrading@gmail.com for assistance, but we cannot override Google’s payment decisions.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law
- Interfere with or disrupt the App, servers, or networks connected to the App
- Scrape, harvest, or automate access to the App or its data in an unauthorised manner
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit App content without our written consent
- Misrepresent your affiliation with us or use the App to mislead others
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.
9. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, branding, text, graphics, software, and compilation of data, is owned by or licensed to Lapidus FX Trading and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
“Currency Wheel” and related branding are used by Lapidus FX Trading. Third-party names, logos, and data remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Third-party services
The App relies on third-party services including Google Play, Firebase, and market data providers. Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
11. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the App available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, including features, data sources, or Subscription offerings.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the App and cancel any active Subscription.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or trading losses, arising from or related to your use of the App
- Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Subscription in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) GBP £10
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lapidus FX Trading from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
14. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and cancelling any active Subscription through Google Play. We may terminate or restrict your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Sections that by nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the App, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
